We made it.

We arrived in London this morning.
We had little to no sleep, so we are dragging today. We took the train from Gatwick. It reminded me how much I love England.

what a concept!: a foot bridge
We arrived too early to check into our hotel, so we dropped off our bags and set out walking. We crossed the Hungerford Foot Bridge to the South Bank.

We walked along the Thames, checking out the sites and the street art.

Traffic in London is scary and it goes in the wrong direction. We opted to delay the pick up of our bicycles for a day to get over the jet lag. So we headed to a pub, The Mulberry Bush, for a pint and a snack. I had a Young's Bitter and Jay had a Guinness. For food, I had a potato stuffed with beans & cheese. I miss English beans. Jay had chicken and leek pie.
